Well, it's been a long night largely spent grading papers, so I'm hardly in the mood to write much (what with the yawning and all). See, even that first sentence sucks!

At any rate, I wish I was in the mood to write more because, having finished Life and Times of Michael K, I have quite a bit I'd like to say about what I now consider to be one of Coetzee's three best novels.

But, alas, I have to get up in, like, 5 1/2 hours...
