Sobriquet 75.1: A Vignette
A rest stop in north-central Ohio. Late afternoon. Erik is returning to his car. A man approaches from the direction of the truck and oversized vehicle parking area.
Man (Abruptly): Have you, by any chance, happened to notice the increased military presence on our nation's highways?
Erik (Recalling the unusually large number of military vehicles on the highway west of Cleveland that afternoon and assuming the man is referring to this specific instance): As a matter of fact, I have.
Man: Things are changing, brother. They're getting rid of the Constitution.
The man continues on his way. Erik returns to his vehicle.
(End Scene)
